Star Blanket Cree Nation Water Treatment Plant

This $7.5 million project provided Star Blanket Cree Nation with a modern water treatment facility designed to ensure safe and reliable service for the community. Work included construction of a new 4,260 sq. ft. building situated on a newly built concrete water storage reservoir, along with the installation of advanced treatment, pumping, mechanical, and electrical systems. The scope also involved the careful decommissioning and demolition of the existing water treatment plant to transition operations seamlessly. Delivered under a stipulated price contract with BCL Engineering Ltd. as consultant, the facility is built for long-term performance and sustainability.
